Volume 7 / Issue 18

(Posted to Bruceletter by Ben Dec 30, 02:44 PM)

OK, so last time I said it was my last issue of the Bruceletter for 2009. But that was before. Now is now, and I’m sneaking one more in before the end of the year. There’s a few reasons:

  • This issue makes eighteen for the year, which is a much rounder, more official number than 17.
  • I have recorded a new song I wanted to let you know about (please give it a listen! This was written differently than other songs of mine and I’m interested in what people have to say about it): http://www.benbruce.com/songs/in-another-universe

So, have a wonderful weekend, celebrate safely and I’ll see you in 2010! Here’s to long life, laughter and love!

“Tender, nicely composed songs recalled John Denver and particularly Assembly of Dust’s Reid Genauer, who Bruce strongly resembled in both voice and all-out-there-on-the-stage delivery. Telling stories about faces in the fire with blinding insight and singing simple songs full of tender vibrations, Bruce showed himself a tunesmith to keep an eye on.” — Dennis Cook, Jambase.com
